I thought I would do something a bit different for a change, since I'm still at our final training camp in Sydney and not yet in Beijing, there's nothing super exciting to talk about as were in our tapering stage and taking it pretty easy most days. I thought I would talk a bit about BMX to let anyone reading this know a bit more about what we do.

Well it's almost time to head off. The BMX team did'nt march in the opening ceremony since we are not competing until the 20th, and there is a lack of specific training facilities for us in Beijing or any surrounding area. So instead I'm still at home here in Toowoomba until later today when we fly to Sydney for four days of training on Luke Madill's Olympic replica track in Sydney. ...

Hey Guys, got a few spare minutes here at the moment so I thought I'd send a quick update.

I competed at the Mountain Bike World Champs in Italy last week, after winning the previous round of the World Cup two weeks before in Scotland I went in favourite.

There was a bit of extra pressure with everyone telling me all week I was going to win, but all good. I qualified fastest on the Friday, and was feeling good come race time on Saturday. ...

Just a quick update, as i have about 15 minutes battery left here, and no charger.

Just got done with the BMX Worlds in China. I had a pretty good day, and made the main (event) but had a pretty disapointing lap to finish 7th.

I won my 1/8, quarter final and semi final, so i was feeling pretty confident going into the main, but it wasn't meant to be.

I was pretty hammered by the final, it was a long, hot, hard day. ...

After 10 days at home after the recent World Cup and national championships in Adelaide, it was time again to pack the bags and haul myself across the world to Europe - Denmark to be more precise - for the next round of the BMX World Cup.

It was a strange feeling, packing for a World Cup in May, but a BMX World Cup and not a MTB World Cup, which is the norm. That feeling soon left as I sat on the plane for yet another 36 hour epic. ...

After the recent World Cup in Adelaide, most of the field moved on to our national champs to be held on the same track as the world cup.

My goal for the World Cup was to make it on to the podium, and while I did manage to make the top 8 the final didn't quite go to plan. The result made me determined to make the most of my second chance at nationals. ...

Aussies excel at home round of World Cup

The second round of the BMX Supercross World Cup was held on the weekend, here in Australia, in Adelaide. I have to start off by saying how awesome it was to race a world cup in your home country, the cheers that went up for the Australian riders when they were in the gate gave me goosebumps everytime! Also having my parents there and Jess as well was great!

Penrith track up there with the best

Training leading up to Penrith had been good, so I was hoping for a good weekend, so with 2 wins i was happy.

I flew in on Friday afternoon right before practice and met up with team SA. I have to say, the South Australia crew had a pretty sweet set-up going for the riders. With Manayta (said man-ay-ta...AKA, Shazza Willoughby) and Col Kitty (AKA Col "the cat...meow" Willoughby) looking after their shredders. ...

From Toowoomba to the World Cup in Madrid

It's Been a super busy past 3 weeks. It all started with a bit of a more laid back race at the Toowoomba BMX club Open Day, which is my home club. There was some good racing with 3 full gates of Pro men. Kamakaze, Jamie gray, Steve Janssen, Glen Codega, and my big Bro N-rod Graves all had a race, as well as about 15 other fast rippers.
